Best donuts in Memphis. Like a lot of mom and pop donut shops in town, this place has pretty limited hours, but it’s worth planning around. the cruellers in particular are wonderful–light, melt-in-your-mouth texture–and they fill donuts at checkout for maximum freshness (and bonus, the filling, at least the fruit ones i’ve had, are not just standard gelatinous saccharine sweet but taste like real fruit preserves, with some tartness). they’re also very nice.
