Hidden Memphis Gem off TillmanRelevant Roasters has been roasting coffee in Memphis for several years, but they recently opened a coffee bar at their Midtown roasting facility. Windows allow coffee drinkers to watch the beans be lovingly and carefully roasted with computer monitored precision. Today, I tried The Honey Badger, a shot glass full of wonderful. Honey on bottom with steamed milk and two shots of Relevant Roasters Dark Roast Espresso. Also available are a selection of locally sourced teas including Angel Chai. Give this hidden gem a try. Only one suggestion. Artificial sweetener and creamer available for doctoring coffee would be nice. There was a selection of turbanado sugar and simple syrup sticks, but alas, some of us are diabetic. Nice decor with local art displayed create a nice atmosphere.
