Best meal I have eaten in a restaurant in Memphis in a long time. This place lives up to it’s top billing and reputation. And, I was surprised that the prices were very reasonable. I have paid much more and got much less in return.
Used to be notable. Dined 9/2015 for a birthday dinner with friends. Slow service. Food spotty. Bill incorrect. Had dinner with my daughter here a couple months ago…again so so. I think Chef English has to many irons in the fire. For the price point, I’ll not be back.
The Bread and Wine Only. Very basic
Amazing!. Restaurant Iris is definitely worthy of a review. For starters I called at the very last minute to make reservations for my fiance’s birthday and they were able to accommodate us. The decorated table and his name on the menu were really nice touches. Our waitress Hilary was great! I ordered her favorite dish the shrimp and grits and was not disappointed. My fianc ordered the steak and wasn’t very pleased, but there was a couple next to use that really enjoyed it. Could just be preference. However, Hilary did save the day with complimentary desserts for us both. I can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful Experience. The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent. I recommend for anyone desiring Awesomeness. try the surf & turf, lobster knuckle sandwich, and the BBQ shrimp.
Lovely. Unpretentious. If I had to pick a last meal… Iris’ bone marrow would be on my list!
Hostess was very, very rude and took everything in a facetious manner. The parking/valet was confusing. The waitress was nice. The food was a 3 out of 5. Had better..
