  Great place to go and sing,, DJ Dave was awesome,, Loved the atmosphere, I found out that this place has been ranked tops 7 years running to go for karaoke in Memphis !

  Karaoking and pricy drinks. I took my daughter, son, and his wife to a karaoke bar called Wind Jammer in Memphis, TN. last night. It is my first experience at this place. It was rated 5 stars for bars with Karaoke so we decided to visit. We got there about 8pm and just a few people were there. We ordered food but only half of the list in the menu was available. The food was just food, nothing spectacular, which I expected. People starting coming in around 9 and within an hour, everybody was jamming at Karaoke. There was technical difficulties with Karaoke so in between the songs there were long delays. The DJ seemed stressed out and unorganized. We had to finally go up to him and asked when our turn was up. We left by 1am and after 4 pitchers of beer, 3 shots of Patron, 9 shots of buttery nipples, 3 rum and cokes, 7bud lights, and food totaling $23.00, our bill came to a total of $166.00. So I think the drinks were a little pricey. I would have to give service 5 stars, but as far as the Karaoke, I would have to rate it as 2 stars. The patron participation would get 3, maybe 4 stars. Overall i would give this 5 star Karaoke bar 3 stars.

  It’s the JAMMER!!!!!. Hey! 1st, as Karaoke goes I have not been to a better place in America. I don’t know about J.R. so I asked Ruthell, (the owner) about the food… I only get their Steaks. They have a Prime Filet Mignon or Ribeye, Baked Potatoe and Salad 6 nights a week for $9.95, (Closed Sunday). 9 of 10 times the Steak is great! I don’t chance the other food but friends say the Chicken Basket (if not burnt) is great, (80% cooked right / I think the grease gets turned up when they are busy). 3 times I’ve heard their Burger is burnt.If you want fine dining, you can chance their steaks or eat somewhere else….If you want PRIME Karaoke with good people, Jam at the WindJammer!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Great Place to Act A Fool, but Not to Eat. This is the ultimate karaoke bar in Memphis. It is a total shithole, but it is a blast while on a good drunk. It is the greatest melting pot of people you will ever be around in this city. However, I would not let my dog eat in this joint. After the many nights of bar brawls, barf on the walls, and so on, I would be afraid to find out what was brewing in that kitchen. Eat before going! Don’t worry, this joint doesn’t get rockin’ until after 10pm. Have fun and watch out for the idiots.
