Finally great Japanese food. This place has great service from the moment you walk in the front door. Our chef was so personable and a great cook. The quality of the food from shrimp, steak and chicken, veggies, fried rice and salad with ginger dressing was fantastic! I’ve had these foods at other Japanese restaurants and most aren’t this good! I wondered when I moved to Tennessee if I’d get this quality again and right here it is in Morristown, TN!
We had a party of 3, only of us got served. My boyfriend got a late of rice that was it. He was so mad that it ruined dinner for everyone. They didn’t even try to do anything about it or give us a discount. It would have been a nice dinner but really how can you overlook a customer sitting there with an empty plate?

Good place to eat. This is the only one in town do funny shows.
One of best in town. Decoration in the restaurant isn’t that fancy but they have very good quality sushi I can have in this place. It’s quite fun to watch the cooking show.
Best Japanese in Morristown. I went to ITAKO Japanese Restaurant with my friend, I love sushi there, their sushi is very fresh & We watched Chef’s cooking show. I think food qty is better than other Japanese restaurants. I really recommend you try in ITAKO. I heard from my neighbor about ITAKO but I never plan to eat Japanese restaurant before. It was good try. Now I loved Japanese food. You will love ITAKO’s steak. 🙂
Decent. Itako Japanese Steak House has relatively good food, but I would much rather visit Akita Express for food quality & price. But it’s not a bad overall experience.
