I really wanted to like this place(with it being a small business that has been around since the 1930s and all), but alas it just was not in the cards I suppose. The food preparation screamed laziness and an obvious disregard for dish appropriation. I know getting fish this far inland is a gamble, so I will take partial responsibility for that disappointment. Everything else being at the level it was inexcusable. The server was excellent however.
I ate here for lunch. Got the spinach quiche. Kind of pricey for what you get. My quiche tasted as if it was made days earlier, possibly frozen, then reheated in a microwave. Not impressed at all and won’t be back. Our server was good, and she even gave me an extra placemat (I’m a teacher and the placemats have all the counties in TN and state facts). Excited about using that for teaching, but that was the only great thing about the experience.
