We were seated and left to rot. The waitress never even looked at us and after 15 minutes we left. I can’t tell you about the food because we did not eat. I am not going back, rude is one thing but mean is another. Will not go back!
Since my group had only the hibachi, that’s all I can review. So how was the hibachi? Everything was very heavily sauced in a sweet and sticky teriyaki-like glaze. Well, except for the rice. Just way too much sauce for me. I like the hibachi style because it’s usually very flavorful and not sauced. In fact, this is the first hibachi I’ve ever had with this much sauce. There’s not much more to say about it except sauce, sauce, sauce. Even the dipping sauces were all sweet. From a yum yum sauce that was pretty good, but sweet, to I swear the same sauce the food was cooked in to the disappointedly sweet hot pepper sauce. Nope. Didn’t like all that sweet and sauce.
We had the lunch bowl and it was excellent. You actually pick your food yourself and then they cook it. Lots of meat choices and lots of veggies to pick from, and several cooking sauces you pick as well. All was good!
We were headed to the Indian Restaurant next Door but our noses TOLD US TO GO NEXT DOOR and we were so happy we did.. for starters.. its a GREAT RESTAURANT..you actually pick your protein ( CHICK PORK BEEF etc.. shrimp…squid..crab tofu .then you pick out your veggies…and stack it to the height of the BOWL sprinkle some CILATRO Hot Peppers Then you choose what starch you want Rice Noodles etc (I choose the 12.95 BOWL my wife said she wanted the next smaller size.. then you pick out a sauce… and put it by the chefs work area…then they deliver it to your table.. enough for to take home for another meal.. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL…LOVE Monglian style cookingCHECK OUT THIS PLACE… FOOD IS REALLY GOOD WAIT SERVICE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD.. and they have a beni hanna type sit down …next time we will check it out.. Good ASIAN food has arrived in Mt Juliet.. thank you .
