  The food was pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak which was good but nothing special. Mashed potatoes were good, again, nothing special. The spiced apples were really yummy! Also had some mac and cheese which was really delicious and creamy but not super thick like a lot of places I have had. Also tried the double chocolate coke cake and this I would definitely eat again! It was rich and moist and mouth watering! Our waitress kept forgetting everything and it took multiple trips (like 6-7) and multiple reminders of things we were missing. I’m not sure if she was new or just has a bad memory. This is the reason for the lower rating.

  Husbands Mamas French toast (usually so good) was barely soaked, the Bacon was burned, the over-medium eggs were nearly raw. He was given one syrup. Never offered another syrup and the waitress didnt return to the table. She dropped the check at the same time as she dropped the food. My chicken pot pie was runny inside, it could have passed for soup with a few chunks of veggies in it, theres was very little chicken. One or two bites is all I could stand to eat. The crust top was dry and inedible. The waitress never returned to our table so I left the restaurant hungry. I was never offered a refill on my ice tea either. Minimum tip option at the checkout is 15%. We would have left her 5% if we could have. The checkout clerk didnt care that our experience was awful. Well never be back to THIS Cracker Barrel.

  I was very disappointed when I found out they gave you biscuits at night instead of barreled crackers
