Good Option Among Many In M.J.. There are a lot of options for Mexican dining in Mount Juliet, some good, others not so. El Comal is one of the better ones available. I’ll say although we’ve dined there several times now, it’s always been for lunch. And, it’s always been really good. Excellent service, good selection, ample portions great taste and prices are family friendly too. Starting with the obligitory chips and salsa, the chips are thick and fresh. Salsa is a little bland, but you can ask for hot sauce and kick it up. A full menu has a complete selection of what you expect to find and a few dishes you might not. I’ve grown fond of the steak fajitas. Properly cooked meat, onions and peppers, good toppings and fresh taste. The pollo poblano is really good with a nice kick from the poblano peppers. Properly prepared and again fresh. We’ll continue to look forward to going to El Comal.
