Sorry food. Bar not stocked , some of the items empty and picked thru . The came out and looked but did not restock food . They did not have any problem with charging full price for so little selection. Will never go back !!!!!! Rating 1 to 10 maybe 5
Clean but not that good !!!. Most of the buffet items had a shrimp taste to them like they fried everything in the same oil they used for shrimp, I couldn’t get past that enough to enjoy the dinner , I told the manager, he just shook his head then went back in the kitchen … I guess it’s just typical buffet food so you really get the expected quality of buffet food , your better off going for a quick chinese take out ,or nice sit in and order from a menu for the price of this buffet , I’ll stay far away from Far East………
Clean, well stocked & awesome selection. My mom and dad took me to the Far East Buffet in Mt. Juliet for the first time tonight. I have been a long time fan of Chinese buffets and have been to more than my fair share. The atmosphere was nice, not a lot of loud oriental music and banging around coming from the kitchen. The decor is not sparse, but certainly not overdone; wood and lots of pretty etched glass free of fingerprints, food flickins and unidentifiable debris. The carpets were clean and, for the most part, stain free as were the booths and tables. Our waitress was soft spoken, friendly and checked on us quite a few times throughout the course of the meal; we didn’t want for anything. The selection of food on the various steam and cold tables was vast! Crab legs, hot & cold shrimp, mussels, clams, pork, chicken and beef in an assortment of dishes, and a super selection of fruits and deserts. There is a chef who will stir fry your choice of veggies, meats and sauces (which my parents headed for first thing) but I had been checking out the crab legs since I walked in the door and made a bee line………….Not only was there plenty of everything but the food was fresh and hot and tasted as good as it looked 🙂 I look forward to my next visit home and another trip to the Far East Buffet!
