TRY IT, YOU’LL LIKE IT!!!. If you like great Margaritas, well prepared Mexican food, and friendly staff this is a place you need to try. We moved here from the Southwest and this is our favorite local Mexican Restaurant .Great place to practice your Spanish. Some of my menu favorites include Fajita Nachos con pollo, the Burrito Bandera, the California Burrito and the Chicken Quesadillas. Try some of the different salsas including Chili Colorado, Salsa Verde and Tomatillo Salsa. Nos vemos en la cantina. (We will see you in the Bar)Note: this is an unsolicited review based on being regulars for 3+ years.

Good option in The M.J.. Been to Margarita House several times and there again this weekend with out of town visitors. Food has always been good. Our guests really liked it too. Service is mostly good, although, it is sometimes a little hard to get a drink refill or mid meal check in from the server. California burrito is a top choice. Fajitas are very good as are items with the Colorado sauce. Chili rellenos are not battered and quite good. Salsa has flavor but isn’t hot. In fact, nothing is overly spicy. When your name is Margarita House your margaritas should be good. And they really are. Different from the standard mixes with more flavor and kick. Also, the house made sangria is a great choice. Prices and portions are competitive with other places that aren’t as good. Give it a try and don’t skip the margarita!

Horrific Service. I normally would rate this place as a ten, but after tonight’s experience I will not be back. My son, who has food allergies, asked for a strawberry drink with NO whipped cream. It came with whipped cream; when I told the server the mistake he rudely said you did not order it without sour cream. You would be correct I didn’t I said no whipped cream, but instead of saying that I said yes I did, he has food allergies can you please correct this. It was corrected about 5 minutes later. Then he took our order and all of the adult meals came and no child’s meal. 20 minutes later with no explination my son’s meal arrived. By that time my food was cold and I refused to eat it. I will not eat food in front of my son when he has none!!! I spoke with the manager and she was just as rude and incompetent as the server was. I will not be going back and refused to leave any tip. My tip would be to either learn better English so you can understand the patrons or find a different job!

Very, very good!. Co-workers and I go almost every week…Everything I’ve tried is good, but the chicken fajitas are my favorite. The steak fajita nachos look good too. One guy’s a vegetarian and the Healthy Burrito is full of grilled veggies and big as a dinner platter. They have excellent desserts. Try the cheesecake chimichanga served w/ cinnamon sugar and ice cream!

Excellent.. Margarita House is my favorite Mexican place in Mount Juliet. The ‘California Burrito’ (grilled chicken, shredded white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw peppers and onions, cilantro) is unbelievably good. Salsa is very, very good — not ketchupy at all. Give it a try.

Great Carnitas!. I moved here from Knoxville and the Don Gallos there had really good carnitas. MH has just as goo,d if not better. We bring our friends here when they visit and they agree. The other menu items are also good. My wife loves their tacos de carnitas -mexican style (with cilantro and onion). She always gets those and has never been disappointed.
