After being in Nashville for quite a bit of time and after trying other Indian restaurants and many types of Indian food , all i can say is BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT In Nashville and around places. It is worth trying… once you try Chicken Dum Biryani, Chicken 65, Naan, paneer butter masala, butter chicken.. you will keep going again and again.
To start off loved the ambience of the place – very aesthetically done interiors, Bollywood music, well lit, cute little bar and a fair sized seating area. Service is pathetic – 20 minutes for a glass of water, multiple people coming to take orders and complete chaos when it comes to presentation and getting the food to table. Coming to the food, I ordered chicken 65, Apollo fish, Onion Pakoda, Chilly Chicken, Chicken Biryani – the taste was very Indian with the right spices and mix. A word of caution to my American friends – if you don’t have the tolerance for hot (spicy) food then be very forthcoming about it to the waiters and get the spices toned down. One of my American colleagues had a tough time !!!
