This is the best sushi in the area. Recently, I’ve visited several other sushi joints that I used to consider amazing. They all pale in comparison to RWS. I recommend the following rolls: Vandy, Tennessee, spicy tuna pepper (with whole pieces of tuna not chopped up scraps) , orange, rainbow, godfather, and Amanda.
This place is great! Restaurant itself was a little awkward when you first walk in, but the food was insane. We tried one of their specials- fried calamari. Freshest I’d ever had, and the dipping sauce was out of this world. Can’t wait to go back.

Great restaurant! The staff is extremely friendly, the food is VERY fresh, and the chef/owner comes to every table to check in and welcome you. My boyfriend and I have always had a great experience here, and the freshness of the seafood is pretty amazing for being off the coast. I would recommend 🙂

Surprise! Clean, quick curtious service great food! Top three sushi restaurants I’ve enjoyed in Tennessee. We had the edemame, seared tuna, Tennessee roll & spicy salmon roll. All were spot on!
