It was really good! I took some friends for lunch there and we had a great time. The restaurant was hip and welcoming and the service was friendly and quick! I additionally loved that it was a family owned restaurant. The menu was reasonably priced… I don’t really know why it is 3 out of 4 dollar signs. I think it should be 2. The food was amazing though! I had the half chicken parmesan with garlic mashed potatoes and my friend had the Cobb salad with avocado dressing and fries. The fries and the chicken parmesan was the best. I love this place and definitely will be back!
Excellent. I’ve been here several times and each time has been exceptional. The menu is diverse and recommend the seafood – it’s as fresh as you can get in this part of the country. The wine list is good and the alcohol is well presented and made within the accepted variations. It’s a good location for a business dinner/lunch or a date. Service was good and the owners have been on site working and getting feedback every time I’ve been there. I like to support local businesses and this is a great one.
The staff is wonderful. The ownersgive to the city of Murfreesboro through charity. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and they have nice happy hour specials. One of my favorite places.
The Alley has a great location, the atmosphere could be made better easily. The waitress was ok , but undertrained. We bruchetta for a starter that wasn’t much, the wedge salad was above average, the ribeye was very good, but not much to eat, & the fillet was too thin for a good fillet. This place has all of the potential to be a great place to go have a drink & get a good meal. The manager needs to look a other restaurants & see what goes. This establishment will work with just a little thought.
Worst food/service I’ve had in a long time. Avoid at all costs!! Had rude waitress was rude and the manager didn’t care. I’ll never be back again
Very yummy! I shared the chicken parm that was on special with my 11 yr old. Very flavorful! My husband had the fried chicken. We loved it. We loved the ambiance. The owner was really nice.
One more HUGE con.. The sweet tea wasn’t unsweet, but it wasn’t sweet like sweet tea should be. If you’re just gonna half ass the sweetness of the tea, just serve it unsweet and let people choose to add sugar.19 Apr, 2015It’s just ok. Nothing special.. Pros: The place is clean. Great service. Food was good. We had the shrimp wontons as an appetizer and for dinner, I had the chop with queso and my wife had the grilled chicken. Both of us liked what we had to eat. The honey mint dressing was great. Cons: The atmosphere was pretty dull. Nothing really original on the menu. Not a wide variety of food, either. The jukebox is in a location that seems to be too close to people eating at their tables. They need more than one TV to offer different things to watch. MMA reruns were on over NBA and NHL playoffs.Overall my experience was good. 3 stars. Nothing really stood out to make me want to go back.
