Great Food Shoddy Service. We chose Blue Cactus based on reviews for a friend’s birthday and were not at all disappointed by the food. There were about 8 of us, and every single one of us was thrilled with our meal. Unfortunately where Blue Cactus fell short for us was service. I understand being a server has its challenges, but our little group was extremely easy going and our server still managed to have an attitude. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of the delicious food. I just hope I end up with a better server… The floors could’ve been a little cleaner as well.
Good Food, So-so Service. I have eaten here twice and I think the food is delicious! I especially enjoy the pesto rice. However I was very disappointed in my waitress when I saw here sit down at a booth and talk with customers she obviously knew while neglecting her other customers and not realizing they needed things such as their drink refilled. I found her behavior rude and completely unprofessional.
New Favorite!. Looking for a new place to eat on my Birthday with the family. Decided to try out the Blue Cactus and what a great experience. We had the Cajun fondue appetizer, 12 spice macaroni & cheese (one of their signature dishes), the penne pasta and fajitas. Surprisingly unique, refreshing twist on familiar dishes. Best yet the service was as good as the food. Bottom line excellent food, excellent service at a very reasonable price. What a concept…. We will defiantly be back -soon-Tom C.

Murfreesboro is lucky. I have eaten at this restaurant at least 8 times now and have been impressed every time. Fresh ingredients prepared by a real chef and great employs that have made every trip enjoyable! Murfreesboro we have a gem here that is not at all like the other places to eat in town.
