I love coming in for lunch and beating the breaks off the sushi chefs. I order so much I can see them get mad when the server brings them the ticket (I usually order 60 to 70 pieces lol). Good Nigiri and Special rolls. 10 bucks all you can eat soup, salad, and sushi. Cannot beat it.
My new favorite Chinese place! I’ll definitely go back and take as many people with me. Service was great and food was wonderful! By far the best Chinese I’ve had in years!!!

WON’T SPEND MONEY HERE EVER AGAIN!. We were coming to Cathay at least once a month. 12/6/14 was the last time I will ever spend anymore money here! I ordered filet & lobster hibachi with a side of lobster. We didn’t get any rice or vegetables, when we asked for them we were told we had to pay extra. This held up everybody at the table’s meal. My son’s kid meal was bigger than mine. Our chef was TERRIBLE, we didn’t even get a onion volcano! We asked to speak to the Mgr. Kim (something, of course her name’s not on business card.) She said we really should have paid more than what we were charged. She offered to give us FREE RICE after the meal. Are you kidding?! She took $5.00 of my bill. I paid $70 for crap service, terrible mangement. Don’t waste your time here, go to Samurai.
WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! NEVER WILL COME BACK… The food taste raw… I asked for a chicken broccoli and I was about to eat itwhen I noticed the food didn’t taste good at all… I asked my server to talk to the manager but the manager never showed up… After waiting almost 20 minutes thw owner came but never have the courage to talk. He was very rude… And I ended paying for something I didn’t even eat… Please never came here … This is an awful place to eat..
Good food, bad service. I have come here plenty of times. The sushi is good. The service is sub par, but hey. 17$ all you can eat. All in all, it was a pretty good place to stuff my face. Until tonight. Ohhhh tonight. We had a party of 3. Myself, my S/O and my daughter. The two of us got the sushi buffet while my 4 year old daughter just wanted salad. By the time we got our sushi, my daughter had long finished her salad and wanted to eat with the grown ups. I knew she wouldnt like sushi, but she was set on having a piece. So i gave her a piece which she sucked some of the rice off and set down. I finished that piece and continued powering through the rest of my rolls. We finish and i was handed the bill. 58$. Turns out we were charged for 3 buffets. The waiter was very nice and said he tried, but the manager saw us sharing, so I asked to speak with her. After explaining to her what happened, she called me a liar and said she saw us sneak more rolls than that to her. She then continued on about how they don’t make money off of it blah blah. So now i sit up, less than 6 hours before i have to go to work, just to write this because it infuriated me that a place I have eaten at so many times in the past would have treated us that way and talk down to me like im stupid. I know the no share policy, I dont care if you don’t make enough money that you cant help yourself but watch your customers like hawks and harass them becuase they ate 8 rolls. I can’t help I have a high metabolism and you have a buffet. So long, Cathays. Won’t catch me in there again.TL/DR: 4 year old daughter sucked rice off sushi piece. They charged me 17$
