We came here on a Monday evening at 7:45pm, all the food on the buffet was old and had probably been there since lunch. They also never refreshed or added more food until the particular dish was scrapped clean. The only part of the buffet that was decent was the sushi and ice cream. Definitely not worth $15.95 per person!!
I’m really sad that my husband and I spent almost $40 on crap Chinese food. Nowhere does it have the price for a weekday buffet dinner. We assumed it would be around $10 or so. After feeding off of the sauce-drenched food items at our booth that was falling apart, we were surprised that our recept wanted is to dish over $17 each, sans drink! Eat here if you want to feel sad, tricked, foiled, and nauseous…all at the same time.
Disgusting.. Went here because my fiance was craving Chinese food, I would have rather starved and ended up grabbing something from a drive through on the way home. Incredibly overpriced, close to $50 for two people, and I ate next to nothing. Food was flavorless, meat was unidentifiable, cold, vegetables were disgusting. The only thing that was edible was the rice and that is just pathetic. Soft drinks were VERY expensive and we had to practically beg for attention from our waitress. NEVER EVER EVER again will I walk through these doors, and I would actually really like my money back since I ended up having to purchase another meal in order to actually eat dinner!
Review is just for the hibachi. Rest of the food is all blah. But the hibachi dude whipped up my stuff good n hot, cooked thoroughly and sauces all the way. Very good job!
Mediocre Chinese buffet at 4 star prices. Most small Chinese restaurants in Murfreesboro have much better food at much cheaper prices.
No.No.No.. I never write bad reviews but this place is NOT good. The service was okay but the restaurant itself was a total mess, there was visible food all over the carpet! Gross! Also, I’m a vegetarian and they did not have many options which I was surprised by! Most Asian restaurants try to cater to vegetarians. The food I could eat was poorly cooked and tasted frozen. I was so surprised this place had such a good rating, it’s HORRIBLE.
Decent food, but prices too high. My wife and I ate at Chef Wang’s last night with our 3 children, 6 yrs, 3 yrs and 19 months. We used to eat there a lot several years ago and have good memories. The hibachi grill is very good and the sushi is decent. It was a Tuesday night and the only extras were tea for me and a milk, everyone else had water. The ticket was $53, not $35–$53! Shocked is not the word for it, how about mortified? The 3-6 year old pricing was $5.95 and the 6-10 yr old pricing was $8.95! I hate to say this but it is our last time we will go there as a family. I still left a tip which made my chinese night out about $60. Do yourself a favor if you have kids and take them elsewhere. Chef Wang’s needs to have lower prices or they will not be around much longer.
