I love this place! My husband, toddler, and myself just moved to town and tried chuys on a whim. We were blown away with the freshness of the food, the flavor, and the kindness of the wait staff. Everything was delicious! Their cheese dip is amazing as is the salsa! We always find and excuse to go and take family whenever they visit from out of town

My Chuy’s experience….amazing.. Located in the heart of Murfreesboro, lies a restaurant, Chuys, that not only satisfies your Mexican craving, but also provides a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. In your time spent at Chuys, youll find out real quick that they dont take anything serious, except their food! Chuys offers homemade, fresh meals inspired by the Mexico/Texas area. Everything from Big-as-your-face burritos, their variety of sauces made fresh every morning, and their margaritas fresh, made to order. Its not your average Mexican restaurant. They identify themselves as a Tex-Mex style restaurant. Youll find their serious commitment to food throughout the entire menu. Their tortillas are hand made with care all day long, their salsa fresca is made every morning with only the best tomatoes, and those famous Chuys margaritas are made with fresh squeezed lime juice, a special blend of sugar and water, and the finest tequilas. Chuys is great for all, everywhere from families with kids to college students. You walk in and the hostesses are always so bright and peppy. They make sure to make you feel very welcome to be in the restaurant. The wait is never over 15 minutes, but they usually seat you upon entrance with the choice of indoor seating, the bar, or their fun patio setting (which they have named the Palapa). The waiters and waitresses might I mention are never dull or rude. They all really seem to love being at their job, which makes for a great service. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the team of hostesses who kindly, and promptly, sat my party. After what seemed like no wait at all, I was greeted by our server, Hailey. Hailey had an amazing personality and a unique sense of style. Hailey recommended that I tried the creamy jalapeno ranch with the tortilla chips that are provided upon seating. It was so delicious that if there was some way I could inject them into my bloodstream I would. Once I had placed my order, she even sat down and made conversation with me while I waited. Hailey, in my opinion, embodies not only the perfect vision of a waitress, but the Chuys spirit. My meal was brought to me quickly and with no delay at all. I ordered the Classic Tex-Mex Enchiladas, one of Chuys famous dishes. All that I can say about the food is WOW! The enchiladas had the perfect amount of sauce on them, and the side of Mexican rice and refried beans were an additional bonus. I definitely felt like I was getting my moneys worth. Not only was the meal absolutely delicious, but I had so much left over that I had to ask for a box, something that very rarely happens due to the fact that I can eat approximately the same amount as baby elephant. After ordering my main course I just HAD to order dessert. I ordered Sopapillas, a classic Mexican pastry that is paired with a cup of Mexican honey… And just to think I was impressed with the main course! I was completely blown away by these simple, yet delicious pastries that I had to place a half order to take home for later to enjoy with my evening television programs. And yes, they were just as delicious later that night. The only negative comment that I might have about my experience at Chuys is that my meal made me too full. I had an all around amazing experience at Chuys. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and everything was very moderately priced. I definitely recommend Chuys if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant, a delicious meal, and a gathering place for friends. My experience was one to remember and I will definitely be returning to Chuys again in the near future.

Will never go back. I will never go back. I met some out of town friends there who both brought their babies with them. I arrived first and they asked if we would mind being seated on the patio. I told them no thanks since I didn’t want the babies to be cold but the hostess reassured me that it was a heated patio so i said ok. Well, half way through our meal, the other two tables around us began complaining that it was too hot which I thought was crazy bc it felt frigid even with the heater on. (And I’m hot natured) . They turned the heater off so I asked the waitress to turn it back on and she did. People started complaining again and the manager came to our table and basically told us they were sorry but they had to turn off the heaters… The rest of our time there was very cold and we had to go out to the car to get coats. Later our waitress told us the manager was going to take something off our check. When we got all our checks (3 separate checks) only one of us had a meal compted?? As if they just randomly decided who gets compensated for our frustration. So dumb. I’ll never go back.

Always Happy. Treated my son’s girlfriend to a late lunch. Her first time at Chuy’s and I needed a fix on the japapeno dip that I love. Paul waited on us at the patio and the service and food was great. Paul went the extra mile to make sure our food was packed when we could not finish and gave us extra chips and salsa. My husband and I live 45 minutes from the Murfreesboro location but when in town Chuy’s is our 1st choice. We have always had good service and good food. This was the 4th person I bought there for their 1st time and they all loved it. Affordable and good. Nothing wrong with that. We will return.

Just as good as the Austin locations. I’ve lived in Atlanta for about 2.5 years now, and in that time, I haven’t been able to get the taste of Chuy’s out of my mind. I sometimes have dreams of their creamy jalapeo dip. So when a friend suggested that my wife and I drive to Murfreesboro on the way to Pikeville, TN (which would add an extra 3-3.5 hours to our trip), we thought he was out of his mind. Until, that is, he told us that there was a Chuy’s right off the interstate. I was sold.We ended up getting there sometime between lunch and dinner, but instead of shooing us off, we were taken to a table immediately, given menus, drinks, chips and dips, and greeted by a server who was very familiar with the menu. As I’ve said before, I dream about the creamy jalapeo dip, so I asked for that, and received it promptly. It was exactly as I remembered it. I ordered the Elvis Hatch Green Chili Fried Chicken, and it was incredible, just like it used to be back in Austin. All told, we had six or seven people there, and all of our orders were correct, at the right temperature and spice levels. It baffles me why anyone would go to a Tex-Mex restaurant and then complain about the spiciness. That’s just stupid. Anyhow, I’ve had business in the area again recently, so I made another trip to Chuy’s, and it was perfect again. I hope they keep doing whatever it is they do, no matter how ‘unprofessional’ other people might think they’re being.
