Excellent food! My favorite Indian Restaurant! Very friendly staff! Fun atmosphere! I love the Bollywood films they usually show!
Regular Diner. My wife and I order takeout regularly from Clay Pit and occasionally have lunch there when the buffet is going. The buffet is good and we are never disappointed. The quality of food is better when you order from the menu. The naan is real, not prepackaged pizza dough like some places have. The food is freshly prepared in a kitchen which can be seen from the dining room. Ingredients don’t seem to be frozen. If they are out of a particular ingredient that day, they will not prepare the dish it goes in, rather than stockpiling frozen vegetables and meat. The paneer is made in-house. The staff are all family and are very welcoming when they see us.
Nope. This place is way over-priced. Two dinner buffets plates and two drinks came to around $30.00…. and the food was mediocre.
Lovely buffet lunch…. But don’t judge Indian food until you order from the menu!!!! It’s great!
Foodies gather round!!!. 3 fellow foodies in Tullahoma had recommended this little gem. Nice little dive with great food at student prices. REAL NAAN!!!!! who gives you real naan these days?! Most places don’t make it to order-but these guys do. I just wanted to float away on a river of potato and eggplant curry- I think I might have moaned when I took that first bite. I avoid chicken usually but the mango chicken smelled so good I just had to try it. Happy I did. I will become a regular. I hear the order off the menu outstrips the buffet. I completely over ate- but since the food is not reheated corporate slop so common these days i did not get a sour tummy.
My wife and I ordered from the menu tonight. We both ordered Chicken Tikka Marsala for our main dish. I must say, it was VERY good! The garlic naan was a nice addition as well. My wife also has a Vegie Samosa that she said was good too. Her drink, a Mango Lassi was good as well. My appetizer was a Paneer-Pokora, it was good with the dipping sauce. I’ll definitely be eating here again!
