A donut shop with no donuts???. I have visited this store on several occasions, and while the donuts were good ( when you can find one!), I have decided it is not worth the trouble of stopping to find out if they have ANY donuts at all! I have been when they only had one or two varieties left, and now twice when they were completely out, with no one making any more! That was my last attempt :(.

Holy. cow.. Man, Donut Country is really good! I’ve been all over the world and have never tasted Bavarian creme filled confections as delectable as those on sale at Donut Country. The apple cake donuts are spectacular–shame they stop making them in order to make pumpkin spice donuts, but no matter–and they’re very well priced (from about 75 cents to $1.60 for the biggest eclairs I have ever seen in my life) and they’ve been in business for thirty years. My brother lives in the food capital of the world, New York City, and I can’t wait for him to try one of Murfreesboro’s treasures when he comes for Christmas. Their one chink in the armor is the chocolate cake donut; those I could take or leave, but the rest? Mm mm m!

Really good Apple fritters. I see why it was so highly recommended.

LAZY staff. Not everyone wants to, or should be expected to, get up at 6am to get donuts. A donut shop that stays open until afternoon shouldn’t stop making donuts THREE HOURS BEFORE closing. What kind of business does that and expects to have customers?? Does a pizza shop stop making pizzas at 9 pm?We went to Donut Country at 11am and all they had out were about a half dozen cake donuts. When we asked if they were making any more the lazy idiot behind the counter acted like we were from another planet. So we thought we’d try our luck at Donut Palace, which was out of our way. WHAT A NICE PLACE!Not only was the case filled with all kinds of donuts and baked goods they were still making MORE!The donuts were light and sweet and the ham and cheese croissant was tasty!Never going to broke back country again!

Best donuts I have ever had. They cost more than they do at some other places (.89 for regular donuts), but they are far and above worth any extra costs.

Sunday Morning Treat!!. I went here on a whim and I loved the donuts and the prices! Good eats for a good price. They tasted like cake based donuts but were still light and fluffy. I would go back!
