After reading the positive things about Opah, were were excited to try it. We’ve come away not very impressed. First, when ordering, there were some communication difficulties. That aside, when we got the food, we had to return to the counter to get everything we ordered, as we were shorted some add on’s. The Gyro meat is sliced off to order then finished on the grill. It’s pretty standard, which isn’t unexpected since all the places get the same raw product for their spits. Their tzatziki sauce is very bland. No yogurt or lemon tang, nor any noticeable cucumber or dill. Just bland and white. The tabbouleh salad had virtually no grain, and was just chopped parsley with a little tomato. No lemon or olive oil flavor. Ditto the Greek side salad. Just some lettuce, onion and chopped tomato. No Greek flavors there. The yellow rice was rich with butter and oil. Fries were typical food service type. Prices are very reasonable and the place is very clean. But, we’ll pass it by in the future for any number of other options in the area.
Top notch customer service!
