California Burrito (Chimi Style). Ask for it with no sour cream and extra guacamole. That stuff is the food stuff of the gods.
My new favorite. I usually go to Camino Real, but I saw an ad in coupon mint for this place and decided to try it…. I am SO glad I did. Their tacos are AMAZING and their cheese dip is better than any of the other mexican places around town. They use shredded beef in their tacos and there is just no comparing it to other tacos. Their chips are made fresh and are warm and crispy… I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Oh wait, yes I can, It is CHEAP! Best tasting and cheapest, you can’t beat it. I go to the location on the Cason Lane side of town, but I imagine all locations are equally good.
This place is amazing and the best Mexican place I’ve eaten at in Murfreesboro the staff is very friendly and warm and the whole place is wonderful ! I has the beef taco and beef tostada and wow it wasn’t hamburger meat but real pieces of pulled beef ! Another sign of a clean and orderly restaurant is the bathrooms which were nice and clean ! I will be back again and again ! Oscars is my new go to place !

Best Mexican food in the Boro! Very close to completely authentic. Very affordable as well. Oscar’s is definitely the place if you have discerning tastebuds.
Excellent!. I have been to the REAL Mxico (not Cancn!) several times and I truly enjoy Mexican food. Oscar’s isn’t truly authentic but it definitely has some authentic flair to it. The tacos, I have found, are the most authentic thing on the menu. They are made from corn tortillas and not those yucky flour tortillas and they’re served with lime wedges much like any dish you will find in Mxico. I find Oscar’s to be a good mix as it has dishes bordering on authentic to fit the connoisseur’s taste buds as well as the average taste bud’s of those accustomed to eating Tex-Mex. Oscar’s offers two types of hot sauces — one is mild and one is somewhat spicy. Both are very similar to their counterparts in Mxico as far as taste is concerned.
