WHY AM I STILL WAITING!!!!. I eat here because it is close to MTSU and despite being the only person in line on many occasions and the fact I am ordering food that is dip-and-serve I normally have to wait 15-20min for my plate. So as much as I like BBQ I am done with these slow, never open on monday (wtf), country do nothings.
Best meal in town. Visiting on business and ate her 3 times in 3 days. Had something different everytime and was always great. Don’t waste your time trying anything else in town. Mac and Cheese is side of choice and pulled pirk is the ticket!!
Ribs. Excellent flavor.
Pet peeve. I have a pet peeve with this place because they open late they close early and they’re closed on the weekend. with that said they make a lot of money selling good pulled pork. none of the sides are anything special but nothing is bad either. I have heard this place referred to as a mom and pop business but this place is selling in the 2-3 million range per year. this is no nickel and dime spot the spend a lot to make it look run down. but certainly a good place to eat lunch but they close just before dinner.
I live in California with family in Mboro. I always hit the slick pig when in town. Perfect food perfect place.
Slick pig is some of if not the best BBQ in Murfreesboro….plus its affordable. Had the pulled pork and it was divine.
Never Disappoints. What can I say but fantastic. I have had everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. The wings will make you forget your troubles.
