Overcharging at lunch. This has been one of my favorite lunchtime destinations. Unfortunately, menu items have started ringing up higher than the menu price. When I noticed this, I was told that they just forgot to reset the register to lunchtime pricing. This was 1PM!!!, everyone that day paid $1.50 more for their lunches!!! I’m sure this helps their bottom line, but if they need to raise their prices they should just do THAT instead of lying!!! I would have gladly paid the extra for my lunch, but if they are willing to cheat customers in this way, HOW CAN I TRUST THAT THEY WON’T USE SPOILED INGREDIENTS, OR MEAT DROPPED ON THE FLOOR, TO SAVE MONEY!! Trust is important in commerce, friendship, and American Honor. I won’t be extending that trust to Taste of Thai henceforth.
Bah. Nothing special here.. Hot and Sour Soup – medium on the spice scale, off the charts on the salt scale. Essentially inedible. Fried noodles for the soup? Weird and mushy, not crisp. Pad Prik – Good flavor, good spice, not enough veggies, too much poorly done tofu. Iced Thai Tea – oddly metallic tasting. To be honest, it wasn’t terrible but it also isn’t worth a return visit.
Delicious! Clean, fast and friendly service. Best kept secret in the boro. Try the spicy basil. I crave this regularly. I’m just sad I’ve lived here 13 years before trying it!!! Well worth a try.
Mediocre at best. The service is good, but really the food for the most part is not close to authentic. This is Americanized Thai & chinese food. If you love Bland american food this is the place for you
The food was amazing. We did have to wait a long time to get it, apparently that is very unusual. It was very much worth the wait. Price was just right too
