I don’t visit toots for fine dining, but when I’m looking for beer and apps, this place has great prices. Their later happy hour can get you half priced apps and cheap beer. Sometimes this is all you’re looking for and Toot’s isn’t a bad place to get it!
Something for Everyone. If you are looking for gourmet 5 star food, this is not the place for you. It is good ole American bar food at it’s finest. The food is hit and miss and you have to know what to order or you will leave disappointed. This is not the place to order a salad. You will not find fried pickles as good as the ones here. It is just impossible. They are the best I have ever had and I have had fried pickles in tons of restaurants in 5 states. The chicken strips are good, the buffalo sauce is good, and the fries are good. Wish they were open later to cater to the horse show and college crowd, because we are always looking for junk food late at night!
I have been eating here since I was a kid and I have to say that Toots is hands down one of the best places to eat anywhere. While it has evolved over the years, the core of the restaurant hasn’t changed all that much. I cannot imagine a trip to Murfreesboro without going to Toots!
Average Fare but Best Onion Rings Around. It’s a Hooter’s knockoff and the girls no longer hula hoop on the bar, the food is about what you’d expect from a place like this but surprisingly, their onion rings were freaking delicious! I wouldn’t take a date here, but while riding motorcyles with the guys, it’s a good place to grab a burger, beer and o-rings, enjoy the sights and return again in six months.
Not the same. My family loved Toot’s when I was younger but now that I’ve grown older its not the same. The food is decent but mostly bland. I have a coworker who used to work at Toot’s and I heard nothing but suspicious things about the business. Their daily specials are worth it but service is hit and miss.
I love Toot’s!!! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Food is good. Service is always amazing. And I always have fun at this place! Great family fun atmosphere.
