Now This is Real Barbecue!. My wife and I ate here for the first time today. What a pleasant surprise! The service was prompt and the gentleman who waited on us was absolutely charming and helpful. We tried the pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. All were exceptional. The brisket matched any I’ve tasted in Texas, and that’s saying something. The sides were great as well, and the desserts are all home made. We tried the peanut butter pie and chocolate pie — both outstanding. Trust me, this place is well worth the drive. Highly recommended.
Always call ahead to see if they have anything left. Repeatedly we have gone and it would have been easier for them to tell is what little they had left than go down the list of what they are out of…
DRE Luncheon May 10, 2013. Service delivery was late that day, but the food was excellently prepared and tasty. The DRE’s from the surrounding HSV and Madison area had rave reviews. We also had the St. Louis style DRY RIBs which are always amazing!Beans were tasty too!
Ribs are the best in North Alabama! Everything I’ve tried has been excellent. Pinto’s and cornbread is another favorite.
The best BBQ in AL and probably the South!!! You have try the Brisket and the Turkey. I promise it will be the best you ever had. Do not leave until you have some Mac and Cheese and any desert because they are made on site and everything is fantastic!!!!
Wonderful NM BBQ. I ate at NM BBQ for the first time the other day & had a wonderful experience!! The chicken was moist & flavored ALL the way to the bone. The skin wasn’t dry for flimsy it was just right.I splurged on the mac & cheese & man was I happy. Had a little party in my mouth!! I had gotten accustomed to getting a roll when I have ordered BBQ in the past but at NM BBQ I got a piece of cornbread instead. Perfect for the south!!I will recommend NM BBQ to everyone I see!! Keep up the tasty work!!!
