Great Salads. I always try to support local restaurants that serve whole foods. As I am eating their salad as I type, I want to let you know that this really is a great place for salads. I haven’t tried their soups, salads, or sandwiches but they look good as well. The sald is under $6 and has more in it then you would get at Subway, Firehouse Grill, Wendys, etc for the price. You get ham and turkey in nice sized cubes/chunks, broccoli, yello squash and zuchinni tidbits, cheese, egg, green and red peppers, cukes, and tomatoes. The lettuce is an iceberg and romaine blend. Scrumptious!!!!
Fantastic Food!. I am a bit of a foodie, i.e. I only eat fresh, nutritious, well-prepared food with very little processing. That’s what you will find here. Everything is made on site and delicious. Nothing fancy, but everything’s well made and very healthy. Soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Nothing very expensive, entree salads and sandwiches for less than $6. You can’t go wrong stopping by this place – right beside the Buffalo Grill on Oak Ridge Turnpike. There’s no sign, but it’s right there. Enjoy!
Best Pimento Cheese. I love everything at this place! The food is simple but VERY fresh. It’s nothing fancy, but you don’t need fancy when it tastes so good. Love their little shop, where they also sell baked goods a la bake sale style, with fresh soups, boxed sandwich lunches ready to go, great salads: potato salad is my fave, along with marinated veggies, lemon salad, and the pasta (not macaroni) salad. Their garden salads have everything but the kitchen sink in them all chopped up–can’t say enough about their food. And the people are genuine and kind. But the best thing–is their pimento cheese.
