Overall it wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. Portion sizes were very small especially for a dish called the Big Daddy Platter. The puckered pig bbq sauce was way to vinegary tasting. For a BBQ place they didn’t have any traditional Southern BBQ sides. The deep fried corn on the cob tasted like fryer grease. If I was ever in the area I would try something else before coming back.

We had heard great things about Bennett’s BBQ, and were excited to finally be in the neighborhood so we could try it. The food was delicious! I had the Carolina Sandwhich, best BBQ pork I’ve ever had. However, the staff was rude and very unwelcoming. First policy when you walk in the door is that they won’t seat you until the entire party is there. Not a good greeting when your starving and expecting to snack on appetizers and tea while waiting for your party. …and they are downright hateful about it. It didn’t get any better after the greeting, as the waitstaff was rude and lazy as well. Our waitress really didn’t act like she wanted out business. Even though the food was good, we won’t go back. It’s a shame to work so hard on good food and lose patrons with bad attitudes.

My Wife Loves the Burnt Ends, My Favorite is the Baby Backs and Cole Slaw. Wow, love how the ends are nicely grilled, fork tender and full of flavor.

Best at breakfast!. This is our favorite place for bbq in the smokies! They have an awesome breakfast buffet for under $10. Pulled pork for breakfast is so great, and it is usually not very crowded as most people tend to flock to the pancake houses. Our most recent trip was for lunch. I got the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, which is amazing. My sides were baked beans-decent, and potato salad- not great, it is a mustard base, not my favorite. husband got the brisket burger which has has a nice flavor, but not something he would order again. Prices are reasonable based on other places we have visited in the area.

Just ok.. We just ordered the nachos 12.99. Big portion. But the nachos were just ok. They used canned nacho cheese. Probally will not go back.

Had the burnt ends today and they were great! We also loved the mac and cheese, sweet tea, pork ribs, and clean restrooms. There were not very many people in the restaurant when we went, but service was still slow. Understaffed?
