The food is disgusting and it made my boyfriend and I sick! The food all looked like it was frozen and microwaved. The crab legs had a bitter and burnt taste to them with NO crab meat in it! My boyfriend began throwing up as soon as we got back to our room, and I began throwing up shortly thereafter. I also experienced diarrhea because of the food. This place is definitely a tourist TRAP and should be ashamed to serve people such horrible food. My family and I have no problems paying for good food, but this place was not worth the $83.00 my boyfriend and I dished out only to get FOOD POISON! This is your WARNING, try it at your own risk, but don’t say I didn’t tell you so!
Not worth the price. If you like crab legs then it’s the perfect place and price. However if you don’t want crab legs then it’s overly price. They should have 2 prices- one for crab legs and one without.

Buffet Captain Jim’s. Had the Buffett since no one offered a menu. Would have liked the option. Only 1 in our party if 4 ate the crab legs she said they were cooked like ones Red lobster and found them good but could have been warmer. If eat crab legs price us ok. 19.99 for rest buffet was in my mind overpriced. The shrimp were either fried or cold some steamed ones would have been a winner. The crab salad in the salad bar was delicious. The twice baked potatoes were dried out . Hush puppies were good. They did have mud bugs if you like those in ample supply. The raw oysters were not very appetizing they did not look fresh looked to dark like been sitting a while. Was afraid to eat any of them. Salad bar was fresh and had a good variety. The deserts did not look appetizing at all. They all looked old and frankly were not even a Golden Corral or Ryan’s quality . The waitress staff was friendly but rushed . They do have a good selection of Beers. Was it worth money if you eat crab legs and a lot if them ok. Otherwise you would get better quality at Golden Corral.

Bad Food REALLY bad crab legs. Ok, Ryans quality food (That’s not a good thing). They advertise crab legs so you would assume they know how and do cook them correctly. WRONG! Crab legs so soggy you can’t get the meat out of them and the cluster part still ice cold. Staff unable to keep the meager buffet line stocked. It looks like an abandoned steakhouse inside. VERY expensive for the terrible food. Before you commit to the high price ask to look at the buffet. This place rips off tourists to stay in business. We tried to eat our money’s worth of crab legs but gave up because they were so poorly cooked. The rest of the food bar is pitiful. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area. This one is absolutely criminally terrible.
My husband and I came up for our honey moon and I was delighted to see a seafood buffet here. We went on our third night of vacation. $30 dollars a piece . It started off bad the hostess seemed drugged and lazy eyed rude and ignorance of our presence. Then the gm asked to seat us wow his body odor was horrible as was his breath. The waitress was a doll and as helpful as she could be . The food was awful stale old rubbery the only thing going for them was their twice baked potatoes . Captain D`s put them to shame . We will not return .
