A Happy Day, indeed!. We stopped at this diner after at the end of a long weekend together with family, after a day of walking around loud arcades and a stuffy indoor putt putt course – so everyone was very grumpy-hungry by the time we arrived. And this place perked everyone right up! The atmosphere was very fun. Mom enjoyed the oldies music, sister really loved the life sized 3 Stooges poster pinned to the wall, and the food was awesome. Big basket of fries with an awesome open faced burger. Everyone left with a big grin on their face. Loved, loved, loved this place. Will definitely be going back.

Nice idea, bad food. My wife and I wanted to stop there when we stayed in Pidgeon Forge. The dcor lives up to it’s name but the food is terrible. We ordered fried green tomatoes that were absolutely tasteless and 2 burgers that were like eating hockey pucks. The malt shake was good though.

The wife and I stopped in herafter a trip over to Gatlinburg. The burgers were cooked great and pretty big for the price. The fries we’re crisp and delicious. Our milkshakes were prepared fast and delicious.

It was ok. I did not like the cheese on my club.

Satisfied Customer. My husband and I ate there on 2/20/11 after traveling all day. We were seated immediately and our waitress was prompt to come and get our order and then serve our food. The decor was great for a diner which it is. Not sure why others complained about the decor. The burgers, loaded cheese fries and shakes were very good. We will go back there to eat again.

I agree with the other review – very slow service and the food is a miss. Not much thought put into the actual reason a restaurant should be open – for the food!! Very kitchy environment which wasn’t bad for a diner. We saw one couple sit and be ignored in two passes by a server; in my party of three, we were able to each go to the restroom one at a time before our drink orders were taken. Another couple sat down 5+ minutes after us, ate and were walking out the door as we finished our meals.

Not so Happy Days. One of those places that suspects if they choose an inviting theme, tourists will show up. Maybe so, but they probably won’t come back. The food is an afterthought, service was slow. Even the decor was pedestrian.
