2nd time here. The casual – vintage – country atmosphere with lots of local reference is cool. The service is good. It can be a little busy at peak times and the service can be slow, like today, a more accurate rating would probably be 4.8. The food was excellent. This is one of the best places to eat in Pigeon Forge. Family friendly but also a great date place with a nice bar area. Same menu for lunch as dinner. The ribs are phenomenal! They do not come with sauce but since I like mine wet, i asked for some. The bbq has the exact flavor of TN. It is tomato & vinegar base with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, smoky undertones with spices and herbs that you know are there but do not individually stand out. Fried pickles are an absolute must. Thin. Fried. Homemade ranch. If you get the homemade potato chips, be sure to get blue cheese to dip them in. Trust us on this. Like all their dressings, it is homemade. Burger cooked medium, the way I ordered it. Thank you. Baby girl’s chicken tenders were hand-breaded and came with honey mustard, again homemade. Homemade sweet potato was huge. The French dip was one of the best prime rib sandwiches he ever had. Fresh bread. Flavorful meat. This won’t be the cheapest place you can eat but it is definitely one of the best.
