Yep, I gave 5 stars as Local Goat deserves it. In an area that is saturated in fried overpriced mediocre food, this place does it right.Homemade burgers, buns, ketchup, fries, you can really appreciate the good food you will be served here.Endless beer and list, equaled by its whiskey list made my meal even better.My wife who is way more of a picky eater than most, really enjoyed her burger.Great friendly service and clean atmosphere made this the best place we ate at in Gatlinburg by far!
There are a couple of places in Pigeon Forge to get a really good burger. This is one of those places. So here is what a $12 Burger looks like: First of all, they have topping and condiment choices, lots of them. You will want to get bacon jam. This stuff would make roadkill taste good. Next, they will cook your burger the way you want it, we prefer a juicy medium because good quality meat should not be overcooked. Lastly, the bun- they made it. Like baked it, not bought it. All the difference. The kids got chicken tenders off the kids menu, which is weird because this is almost never their choice. It was 5 bucks and the portion size was really decent. Plus, the tenders were hand-breaded and the honey mustard was phenomenal. All their dressings are homemade. The place is cool. The service was great. Prompt and friendly. But here’s the deal, if you cannot handle a $12 burger no matter what, go get fast food.

Amazingly delicious food for the price! Would have expected to pay more for that kind of quality. The service was great, too. My boyfriend and I got the Portobello mushroom sandwich and they were huge. My son is very picky and usually doesn’t like French fries but he loved theirs. If you’re in Pigeon Forge you have to eat here.
I brought a party of 7 here for a late lunch. We were promptly seated and the restaurant was clean. I love their logo! We had the fried deviled eggs as an appetizer. They were just okay. I ordered the Tavern Old Fashioned and it was unique…..a fresh twist on a timeless drink. This place has a decent bourbon selection, better than most. Also, most of the whiskey is local. Our meal was great! I ordered fish n chips and others got burgers. The fish is pub style, greasy and delicious. My wife got a Portabella Mushroom Burger..featured in the pics. The onion rings are huge! All in all it was good. I’ll be coming back for sure.
Finally Pigeon Forge has some decent non-chain restaraunt food! I just hope people continue to support it. They have a really good drink menu and they don’t take many shortcuts food-wise (most of the food is locally sourced). The execution was very good with room for improvement here and there. Servers here give an obvious and earnest effort.
