We happened upon this place while going to turn around to to back to Flapjacks. Glad we did! This is one of the non-chain places to get breakfast on the end of Pigeon Forge almost where you head over to Gatlinburg. The staff are very nice and welcome you in. Coffee was hot, and they kept coffee and drinks filled to the top.Breakfast options include breakfast buffet, or you can order off the menu. The buffet only has scrambled eggs, BUT they will bring you fried eggs to order as part of the buffet price. They don’t advertise this, but the servers tell you this when they greet you.The buffet is ~$8.50, and at first glance it isn’t a very large buffet (say like Golden Corral). We went with it and everything is fresh and home made. Several fresh fruit selections, Waffle bar with special toppings like nuts and chocolate chips. Scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, several potato choices, biscuits, and tomatoes. We chose this place because they didn’t look very busy, and they have a neon ‘no wait’ sign that was on. When I saw this, the turn signal went on. They have a small gift shop in the lobby. Ample parking. Staff was awesome. I liked this as it wasn’t a chain restaurant.Surely to add this to our places to return to.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MESS UP A PANCAKE?? IT IS NOW!. We have been to the Smokies several times and keep wondering what the deal is with all the pancake houses, so we wanted to try one, evidentally we choose THE WRONG ONE!!! This place was like a wooden hen box on the inside and was absolutely disgusting!! I can’t believe this disgrace is even here in pigeon forge and people actually like this garbage?!!?? The pancakes were dark dark brown (?) not no normal pancake Ive ever seen and hard as a rock!! The gravy is nothing but water and flour doused with pepper! We literally filled our plates, tasted that crap and got up and walked out!! THIS PLACE WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE IVE EVER ATE! HOW CAN YOU MESS UP A PANCAKE AND GRAVY?? THEY CAN!
Gross. This place was absolutely disgusting. The menu items are the same as the buffet, only limited portions, so if you have to go there, eat off the menu. The waitress was RUDE RUDE RUDE, and made fun of my mother who is diabetic about her sugar being too low. And the served lettuce as a garnish on their breakfast dishes. Who does that? Do not go here or plan to waste your money.
If you like room temperature milk, this is the place for you. The chocolate chip pancakes are made by taking regular pancakes and sprinkling a few chocolate chips on top. Coffee is mediocre at best. This place is a major let down for $20 with 2 people.
