Absolutely terrible! Horrible food and horrible service. Would have been better off going to McDonald’s. Still got charged full price for food that was not edible. Place is a joke.

Should have settled for a old twinkie. We arrived at about 10:45 on a Monday morning & found the parking lot and the restaurant full with several waiting to be seated. Well thats a good sign, right? The waitress was friendly at first but seemed to become quickly annoyed with our requests. I know a pancake house is not the typical place to go for a gluten free menu, but there are always things you can find to eat. Our drinks were served promptly, but my wifes coffee was visibly weak and tasted as much. So on with the order. Everything in the menu is served with pancakes or biscuits. No exceptions unless you buy off the menu of Sides. An omelet without pancake and with a substitution was unheard of. Well after a trip into the back we came up with grits only. My wife did not want nor like grits. She ended up with a bowl of oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. I ordered the Rooster Omelet with three pancakes. We sat there for an eternity. Everyone around us had been served, most of who were seated after us and in larger groups. In fact when we got served most of the restaurant had been emptied. So now we receive our meal by another waitress. Maybe our waitress was on break because there was certainly no one else there being served. Oatmeal Tasteless, pasty, gooey and not able to add enough of anything to be palatable. Fruit Had taste, not sure what it was, every fruit tasted the same and left the same bad aftertaste, which was not good. Definitely not fresh. Pancakes Have had better, most everywhere. Glad they came with the omelet. I would hate to think I ordered and paid for them on purpose. Omelet Fair, but far from a reason to ever come back. It looked like and tasted like it had been sitting in the window for awhile. We shared tastes of our food in disbelief, with the exception of the pancakes, thinking How can this place stay in business I guess you can put any restaurant in the middle of a tourist town amongst all the motels and it will survive, but not with anymore of my money.
Red Rooster..everything was good but the pancakes. The service here was really good and the place looks clean and spacious. We ordered omelets which came with 3 pancakes. The omelets were fluffy and packed full of ham and cheese, all cooked perfectly. The pancakes were fine, but certainly nothing special. If you are looking for excellent pancakes, go elsewhere, but if breakfast with eggs and the like are fine for you, this place is good.

Excellent experience. Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service and phenomenal food. Our favorite pancake house by far in Pigeon Forge.
Biscuits and gravy was great, though the service was a bit slow. It’s not a huge deal though, as it was quite busy. Service was very polite. If I’m ever in gatlinburg again, I’ll return.
