This place is a lot of fun. Lots to see and do before and after you eat. Our party of 8 got sat quickly. Everyone liked everything they had. The quiche got special praise as did the soups and bread.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. We ate at a community table (put together to help with the crowds) and enjoyed a meal with 3 other couples from across the the country. Nice portions.
Burger, Fish, Grilled Cheese oh my!I see why this is such high rated and it definitely has been an enjoyable experience. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and kind..
Amazing food!! A must order is the blackberry cobbler! My husband and I loved both our meals. He loved his meatloaf and j enjoyed my friend chicken. The food was great and well worth every penny! You will no leave hungry! I highly suggest this location to any foodie!
I’m a local resident and I have NEVER ordered anything bad from The Pottery House cafe. I’ve had their pork chops, quiche, quesadilla wraps, sandwiches and everything is always excellent! They also have great desserts if you aren’t stuffed enough after eating. Environment is beautiful! The inside is nice and toasty: includes fireplace, dimmed lighting and surrounded by wood and stone. The outside patio is a great place to sit when it is warm.
I love the Cafe when it comes to lunch or a not so heavy meal. I go to the location across the street when I want to pig out or I am with a large group. As far as the Cafe, the offerings are solid from a preparation standpoint especially; you can tell you are not eating a lot of preseasoned/precooked food from a food service. I like the sandwiches, the catfish, and most of the sides. Service has always been professional, although I have experienced occasional lapses with order accuracy. A place for a solid meal. Meal portions tend to be disproportionately meat heavy. Bread is good and served with butter that has a nice saltiness to it.
One of my personal favorites for a great meal with family, aldo good for business. The bread here is freshly baked and brought to your table you want to eat the entire loaf before your meal!
