Always was a special destination, will never be again. Our food cane out cold, tasted like it had been on a food bar for hours. Eggs rubbery. Emailed a complaint, basically got you should have told your server.
Excellent service. The food was wonderful! Great seating by the water. Free refillable entrees were an amazing surprise. I had two helpings of chicken n dumplins!
By far the best place to eat near the Smokey Mountains!!! So fresh and so mouth watering. Superb service and the food came out so fast. The scenery is beautiful and definitely worth stopping in if you have the time.
I ordered the fried chicken. It was good, all white meat but pretty good. The meal came with family style mashed potatoes, green beans, roles, salad, soup and desert. All of the food was good and great atmosphere.
Were in town for the weekend, looking to do breakfast before leaving & our daughters friends recommend here. We went & the wait was extremely long, party sizes up to 20 people, we even saw her friends leaving raving about how good their breakfasts were. We were seated about 11:30 apparently around the menu change over to lunch which I was surprised for a Sunday. Even though we really wanted breakfast we were hungry so stayed for lunch & weren’t disappointed. Our waiter was awesome, very attentive & personable. Even though the place was packed you weren’t stuffed in like sardines. The views from the windows were very pretty. We ordered traditional southern food & everything was good. Next time we are in the area will definitely try for breakfast again.
Yum, yum, yummy! I would give The Old Mill a 10 if I could. We waited over an hour to get seated, but it was worth it! Our waitress, Autumn, was fabulous! She kept our drinks filled without us having to ask, and for this place to be so busy, she just had the best spirit and attitude. The prices would seem high, but every meal comes with your meat, a cup of soup, corn fritters, rolls, a side salad, one or 2 sides, and a dessert. The servings are enough for 2 people to share easily and take your dessert home. My Mom and I split the Chicken and Dumplings, which were just like Granny makes (which means they were out of this world delicious). We split everything that came with our meal, and neither one of us had room left to eat the dessert, so we took it to go. Our meal came with Corn Fritters, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and we substituted Squash Casserole for our cup of soup. It was all absolutely delicious! I want to go back tomorrow! So to say that I would recommend The Old Mill is an understatement. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed, I promise!
Always a staple in our travels to Pigeon Forge. Home style, home cooked meals that are massive in proportion. All served in a beautiful 1800’s era grist mill If you leave here hungry, only blame yourself. Wait times are almost always lengthy but you can pass the time shopping in the many old mill shops.
