Overpriced for what is basically a lean cuisine type meal. Additionally, the service is sub-par. Patio is great. Also, I think PE staff are deleting negative reviews. This will be confirmed if this review is deleted; if you are reading this they want honest feedback, kudos PE 🙂 I might come back.

Great location; terrible food. Go to the patio for a beer, but don’t stay for dinner.

Disappointed. Love the patio, but the drinks and food were both bland for my palate.. Maybe to hang out and order a beer, no food, no mixed drinks.

Fantastic!!. I’m shocked to see that Pomodoro East has such a low approval rating. This place was honestly some of the best Italian food I’ve had in Nashville. This was the first time in this city that the server didn’t look at me like I was crazy when I asked for the pasta to be cooked al dente! The bread was great. Calamari was incredible. Chicken parm as an entree, and it was done perfectly!I will be back here, preferably on a nice day to enjoy that gorgeous patio!

Great Experience. My boyfriend and I visited Pomodoro East for the first time on a whim the other night (Saturday) – no reservation. We arrived to a very gracious reception and were shown to a table on the patio. It was a beautiful night, beautiful patio, and the music selection was PERFECT. Billie Holiday, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey……etc. very classy and a perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner. We found everyone, from the hostess to the busboy, to be attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our waitress, Tamara, walked that delicate balance between professionalism and casual friendliness that can really make the difference between feeling at home and taken care of, and feeling either ignored and unimportant or intruded upon. It’s really quite a skill to do this well, and she nailed it.We ordered a range of appetizers instead of entrees…..they just looked more interesting. We ended up with an olive plate, speidini, carpaccio of beef, and a margherita pizza. All very yummy, and went well with the wines Tamara had suggested. Carpaccio had FRIED CAPERS….sorry to yell, but whoa. Yum. The speidini was good, but being fried cheese, it was a little much in combination with the pizza….our fault. We had after dinner drinks with tiramisu for dessert. Limoncello was very good – light and sweet with with that slight lemon rind bitter edge…..the Negrini (sorry – trying to recall this drink’s name from a faulty memory) was VERY bitter…..a gin drink, but if you like that type of flavor profile, and we do, it is very delicious. The staff, and the food (and granted – mother nature, providing a truly gorgeous evening to sit on a patio) made this a very memorable dining experience – one we hope to repeat soon and often.

Really wanted to like it…. I really, really wanted to like Pomodoro East. However, it just didn’t make the grade. I had the penne cheese pasta, which was served in a skillet. It was overlooked to the point of toughness, and dry. My boyfriend had the shrimp over polenta. The shrimp was scarce, and the polenta oily. The location is great…only wish the food was too!

Was not a fan…it has great ambiance but the food for me did not match up.
