You catch they cook, GREAT!. Almost drove past this place, turned around out of curiosity. Decided to go ahead and order a fried trout fish and an Angus burger. Both were great, the fish for an extra $5 you can catch your own fish and they clean and cook it for you. No wait or long lines. Owner and staff were friendly and knowledgable of local spots to visit. Ambience is laid back and again food was great.
A Delightful Experience. Catch your own trout in the pond, have them cook it; or order one that someone else caught. In either case, the meal is delicious. Eat outside on the picnic tables by the pond, or eat inside.This place isn’t fancy, but the owner and staff are friendly, provide excellent service and superb food at a reasonable price. Check out the pictures on their Facebook page to get a feel for the atmosphere. Then take a 30 minute drive through the Tennessee country side and enjoy a fresh cooked meal in a rural picnic atmosphere.
