Good Food Close to Home!. We ate here last week for the first time & were pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly, the food arrived very quickly & piping hot. I had the Hamburger Steak w/Red Potatoes, & Steamed Broccoli. I loved the red potatoes & it was good to have a healthier option of the steamed broccoli. Husband had the Chicken Dinner. I think it was a whole half chicken! It was good & juicy. He ordered it w/mashed potatoes & fries. Although I generally don’t like crinkle cut fries, they were pretty good. It is nice to have a little local place to go to again.
If you want a place where all the locals go, this is your place. Well worth driving a few extra miles to avoid a long wait. The food and service is excellent. We eat here at least 2-3 times a month. My husband has eaten the salmon, flounder, and Philly cheesesteaks. All delicious choices. I’ve had the chicken philly and the turkey sandwich. My son had the best Reuben ever tonight. And kids always get a free scoop of ice cream for dessert.

Good Home Cooking. Well this week I will have eaten three of my meals with the crew at the Mason Jar. The food is excellent and the service is great.
