I had the crawfish touffe, and it was delicious. It was a good amount of spicy, but didn’t burn my mouth. The service was awesome, and everyone was really nice. The portions were pretty big definitely enough for a meal with some left overs. I would definitely recommend stopping by.
We selected this restaurant based on other reviews. Everything was amazing from the service to the quality of the food. We enjoyed the boudin balls (they were something new and very tasty). We loved the catfish! It was seasons so well and fried to perfection. We ended the meal with the bread pudding, which was rich and sinful. The night we visited the owners mother was also visiting from New Orleans and talking to her just added to the experience. If you are in this area you will regret not stopping at PawPaw’s Kajun Kitchen.

Very Good Food and Service and Southern Hospitality. Food was excellent. The owner was serving and she was very friendly and nice. I will go back the next time I am in the area. Best restaurant I have been to in area.
This is not far from the parkway at all. Definitely worth the stop! Roast beef po boy was amazing, tender shredded beef and gravy on a big baguette. The smoked sausage and chicken jambalaya was fantastic, not hot n spicy but perfectly layered flavors to make up a superb dish. The lady who served us owns this place and is a very sweet Louisiana native. Totally going back! !
Food was amazing! Me and my husband stopped there for lunch and we totally enjoined everything about it! I got the roast beef poboy and my husband got the catfish poboy, both were good until the last bite! Next time we visit the area we are definitely coming back to PawPaw’s!
