This place is so country. Not like country retro. Or country chic. Or country vintage…. it is just plain ol country. The place is not much to look at. So don’t look. Just eat. The food is country cooking. It is really good, really country home cooking. Full of country flavor. The menu will be on the whiteboard and it’s whatever they’ve cooked that day. Same for the desserts. If she has cake you will definitely want to save room for it. I think they rotate there dishes. Like maybe chicken and dumplings on Tuesdays… it seems like they always have chicken salad on a croissant. The portions are good and the price is fair.
