Fabulous Italian restaurant!! Friendly staff and owner. They seem to tag-team, you are never without a waitress or anything you need. Our waitresses have always been diligent, but the owner and other waitresses often check on our table also. -The bruschetta is good. I won’t say the best I’ve ever had, but good and fresh. -The goat cheese topped filet special is AMAZING! Tender and full of flavor! -The cacciatore is yummy also! Clearly made to order and not some frozen meal like elsewhere.-The limoncello cake, cheesecake, tiramisu, and canolli are DELICIOUS!! You must get dessert! This is a new restaurant on our go-to list! Will be revisiting.
Food is fantastic! Service is great. The cheesecake is an old family recipe and probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. It’s a must try if you find yourself in the Smyrna area!
The waiters kept taking our plates away right after we took the last bite only to bring back our (used) plates because they didn’t realize more food was coming out. The chicken risotto was under-seasoned. The fish, over. The house-made spinach gnocchi was horrendous. The desserts tasted stale. Not a good dinner and not going back.
Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. This is the best chicken fettuccini alfredo I have ever eaten. You will want to eat every bite.
Chicken Piccata at La Tavola. Chicken Piccata is not on the dinner menu, however they will prepare it for you! 🙂 This is one of the wonderful things about La Tavola. It is a nice, small and quaint restaurant in the heart of downtown Smyrna on Front Street. Stop by and see Massimo and his staff as they know how to make you feel welcome. Don’t forget to have some dessert as well, my favorite is the Tiramisu.

Awesome. I don’t claim to be an Italian expert but wow is this place great.Quite, small, personal feel to the place. fresh food, great menu. service was wonderful. Plates to pizza and everything one would expect from a italian restaurant. I had the chicken marsala and the cream and mushroom sauce was like nothing I have ever had. The bread that was served to start was fresh and airy. The special infused butter was a nice touch. Salad was crisp and had a very good homemade blue cheese.Shrimp scampi apt was again like nothing I haev ever had. Not heavy in garlic and butter and dry. these were plump juicy and covered with a white wine and tomato sauce. excellentThis in my opinion is the best Italian I have ever had. Cant wait to go back.Update 11/14/18Sadly the food has taken a negative direction on my last two visits. Heavy / oily dishes. Caesar salad was dusted with Parmesan cheese versus grated and just not appealing. Bread was presented that was heated and swiped with something but no crunch at all. Server was delightful but that was the bright spot.
