Tho the service was lacking, which I presume was due to our late arrival(3:30), the good was what I expected. The homemade chips were real good as was the huge club. The baked goods looked real good. But they were closed by the time we got done. The atmosphere is comfortable as well. Can’t wait to return on my next trip.
The log cabiny looks are cute, but that’s where my compliments end. This place must be aimed at tourists, because I can’t imagine a local returning when there are so many other tastier and less expensive reataurants out there! The food is mediocre and overpriced. Anything fried–fries, chicken, etc–all tastes the same. The burger was dry and bland. The apple turnover-type dessert is far from homemade, as touted. Their order-at-the-counter system seriously needs tweaking–we waited over 30 minutes for pur food, and when we finally received it, it was all room temperature. The staff isn’t even friendly or at all personable–they behaved more like we were bothering them. Skip this joint.
