Came in for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday. Place was pretty dead. We ordered chicken tenders and a club sandwich. They didnt have any BBQ sauce at all because the cooks made baked beans. Food was acceptable but price was high for what we received. Very disappointing meal. FoodFather Disapproves.
A great family and kid friendly option. The Sunday lunch buffet was delicious! $12.95 for ham, roast beef, pot pie, chicken (fried and baked), meatloaf, fresh corn, green beans, carrots, rolls, beets, a great salad bar and a huge spread of desserts and I’m sure I missed some items. All the food was great and the staff was friendly. FIVE STARS!
Stopped here for breakfast at 10:15 Sunday morning. Despite the fact that buffets are usually bad news, this one looked (and smelled) good so we decided to give it a shot. The buffet normally ends at 10:30 but since there were several people eating breakfast they extended it. Between the hubby and I, we sampled everything and came away pleasantly surprised! The biscuits were light and fluffy and the sausage gravy was a perfect topping for both those and the lightly crisp home fries-style potatoes. They had both sausage patties and links, and as someone who normally doesn’t like links, I was impressed. Both sausage options were meaty and very flavorful. Bacon was plentiful and tasty. They also had scrambled eggs (hubby tried those and said they were the best he’d had in a long time), pancakes, mini muffins (I tried one on a whim and it ended up being a wonderfully moist and delicious banana muffin!), french toast sticks (crispy outside with a nice soft interior), donuts, grits, grapes and watermelon. Overall everything was delicious despite the fact that we arrived a mere 15 minutes before the buffet was scheduld to be taken down. The staff was super friendly too. There was a mad who asked about sausage patties around 10:45 (remember, buffet ends at 10:30 according to the menu). His server went back to the kitchen and brought out 5 patties on a plate for his table! Talk about service. I’ve seen several unfavorable reviews for this place on Yelp and Foursquare.. only thing I can think of is maybe the word got around and they stepped up their game because we found nothing but good food and friendly servers here.
