Thank God for Elvira’s!. Didn’t think it was possible to find healthy, delicious food near Gatlinburg for an affordable price. But here you have it. We ate here three times in two days: lunch, dinner, and brunch – and everything was fantastic! The servers come from all over, and every one delivers fast and friendly service. Elvira herself was a delight to talk to and made us feel like family. The dinner menu changes daily, so we wish we had more days to spend in the area. We probably missed Elvira’s more than the mountains when we were driving back home.
Wonderful Experience. If you like sweet potato fries you should order. We ate on the porch wherewe had beautiful views of the mountains all around. The food was great.
Owners/staff were as genuinely friendly as the food was as genuinely good. We waited on the porch for a table and that was the longest ten minutes because the smell of food was intoxicating. Well worth the drive away from the hectic strip in pigeon forge. We will make it tradition to go back to this great place every time we are here.
Their breakfast was out of this world! This is the real deal with fresh ingredients. Great wait staff and service! We will definitely be back next time we come to Tennessee!
Not only do they serve breakfast and lunch, but on Friday and Saturday they serve wonderful dinners, everything fresh, nothing made from a box, it’s all prepared on site. It was so good and the people so friendly, we’ll be back next week! But be sure you make a reservation so you can be sure of getting a table!

Gem of a breakfast spot.. After starting with some excellent biscuits and gravy followed with a savory eggs & cheese crepe with some bacon on the side I just couldn’t resist the berry crepe as a dessert. I had to push back from the table to keep from stuffing myself. If their lunch is anything like their breakfast this place should be around a good long time despite the between towns location. (on a side note Wear’s Valley is well located to one of the Smokies quiet side entrances, so maybe the location isn’t that odd.)
