Really Great Place – Awesome Food!. A co-worker and I went there today for lunch at his suggestion, and I as glad be brought the place up. I had the Poppy Seed Chicken, along with mashed potatoes and creamed corn, and the food was super good. The yeast rolls were as good as everyone says, and they were nice and warm when the hit the table. Overall, with the nice staff and tasty sweet tea, it made for a great lunch. I’ll definitely be taking my wife to eat here next time we’re in the Franklin, TN area.

Just Like Grandma’s Cooking. OK this is a must go to place for great food and excellent service. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac &cheese, and greens were out of this world. When you pull up, you literally think you are at Grandma’s house. The yeast rolls are the best you will ever have. Be sure to buy a 1/2 dozen to take home for those unlucky souls who weren’t in the car when you pulled into Barbara’s. The desserts are homemade by Barbara. The coconut pie is just the right amount of maringue topping to top off the delicious filling. Norma is a great waitress and Barbara’s grand daughter can do about 10 things at one time to help customers. This is a must stop and eat place, especially if you are headed to Franklin from Nashville. 5 stars on this place.
Unique version of a meat & three. Portions are adequate, atmosphere is interesting, small home with an outdoor porch and lawn outdoor eating. Food was prepared well and flavorful. I’m not a meat and three guy, but do enjoy Barbara’s.
This is one of my favorites!! Everything is wonderful!! The coconut cake is to die for….
