Service was ok fried green tomatoes weren’t anything to brag about got the fried chicken mashed potatoes were cold green beans were wonderful the chicken tasted bland no salt or pepper in the breading my breast was large but my wife got one half the size of mine not overly impressed
I was reading a couple of negative reviews going into Henpeck and I honesty don’t see it. It was good. Really good. Not the most amazing breakfast ever but that was never promised. First off, being a Central Florida Southerner (aka Northerner), this less like a cafe and more in line with a diner. Large omelettes. Great biscuits. (Nearly) Passable coffee. All diner staples with the Southern staples. Had the Henpeck Omelet with plenty of sausage and cheese. Overall a very pleasant experience.
