Oh Abihaus how I love you. Your funky fresh decor and tattooed staff. Mixed drinks from the heavens. You have become my favorite spot in town. I love taking out of town guests here because this place is crime of the crop but honestly is above being placed in a crop with other restaurants. What your doing to just completely different. The first time I ever tried grits and liked them it was completely your fault. Now I crave them on the regular. Your brunch is a thing of beauty. Everyone that has had it knows this and it evident in the crowd you draw every Sunday. Dinners are always off the hook and are sure to impress the most refined palates. This is not the place to take your friends that think Olive Garden is the best place on earth. Take your friends that require more. That long for a better dining experience. Be warned though, this establishment is very small and you will almost definitely have to wait for a table. It’s worth it though. Really. Don’t take my word for it. Try it. (Brunch and dinner are better than lunch in my humble opinion but lunch is still great)
Great fresh and simple food. Definitely a hipster place. Love the PBAT is melt in your mouth pork belly, arugula and tomato with sriracha mayo. Burgers are great. Fried chicken and waffles (though they only had pancakes that day bc waffle machine broke). Duck confit hash with poached eggs were fabulous for brunch. The service is slow and a little disorganized.
