The environment: Fantastic. The Food: Incredible. It was one of the better experiences I have had in this town. I am going back soon, this time to try out the sushi menu.
Blah food from the grill, & the rice was crunchy as well as having burned bits. You need to clean old food COMPLETELY off the grill before you start again. I saw about 1 to 2 Tbsp of old, burned rice & food that got mixed in with our rice. Adding lots of soy, ginger, & pepper didn’t help. Cleaning tendons out of chicken is a must. We won’t be back. Learn to cook before worrying about attempting humor–very weak attempt!
Has something changed?. My son went to ACU and this was always the family’s favorite place to eat. Very reasonably priced for a hibachi kitchen and seafood was cooked to perfection. The last two times we went, the food wasn’t as seasoned and the scallops (which are my favorite) weren’t as big and sweet. Has something changed with their management or supplier? BTW, I would expect a 25 minute wait if no reservations at a good restaurant.
Very good!! Reasonable prices !! Clean bathrooms!!
The wait… 25+ minute wait to be seated? Not worth it at all
For those of us who know & love sushi, this place is a disgrace to us sushi connoisseurs. It’d been wiser for us to stay home, open up some Philly cream cheese & a can of sardines – same food as this place offers & less expensive! Sushi should NEVER be loaded with cream cheese!!! This is done for American palates. Sushi should be healthy – filled with vegetables, rice (preferably brown) and wrapped with nori. If the roll (as some do) has cream cheese, it should be a little amount. All we tasted WAS cream cheese. We will NOT return to eat here.
