Had not been here in a while, thought we would try it again. Waitress not friendly. Food so so. There was dried food on my plate thank God it was in the bottom. Not the best hot sauce with last of the bag chips. Well I guess it will be a lot longer before we try it again!!!
As a vegetarian Casa Herrera is a breath of fresh air. The food is awesome and hits the spot nicely. The salsa mixed with the green salsa is absolutely yummy with a very nice burn. There are plenty of vegetarian or vegan options. The do not use lard in this place… At all. The refried beans are made with canola oil. The Spanish rice is vegetarian with no chicken broth but it tastes heavenly. The tortillas and tortilla chips are made on site and vegan friendly. The carne asada is awesome as well.I highly recommend this place for everyone, but want to make sure that the vegetarians out there know about it.
